travel TO SEA POWER

Staged at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre @ Glebe Island, the Centre's convenient city location is easily accessible to all visitors – whether travelling from within Sydney, New South Wales and the rest of the Australia or indeed from anywhere in the world.

Arriving by free ferry
During exhibition event days, scheduled free ferry services run from the Convention Jetty at Darling Harbour and at Commissioner Steps on the George Street side of Circular Quay.

The ferry timetable can be downloaded here.

Convention Jetty is located outside Cyren Restaurant in the Harbourside Shopping Centre - look out for the big purple Darling Harbour balloon on top of the ferry shelter. There's also plenty of wayfinding signage throughout Darling Harbour to help you locate the jetty.

Travel time by ferry from Darling Harbour is ten minutes. Distance from the Glebe Island ferry wharf to the nearest exhibition area - Hall 1 - is approximately 200 metres.

Commissioner Steps are located on the George Street side of the Circular Quay Ferry terminal.

No Wheelchair access is available at Commissioner Steps.

Travel time by ferry from Circular Quay is 25 minutes.

A Concierge will be at located both pick up points and at the Glebe Island ferry terminal to assist with timetable and ferry queries.

On the first day you attend the show (and potentially don't have an exhibitor or trade visitor badge), please let the concierge know you are attending the Pacific 2015 event.


Arriving by car

To use your navigation device to get to the Exhibition Centre, enter 41 James Craig Road, Rozelle.

The Centre is only minutes away from the Western Distributor Freeway and the City West Link, and next to the Anzac Bridge, adding easy access from the north and west of Sydney including the CBD. There’s on site paid parking for 510 including 24 disabled spaces. Motorcycles are also welcome to park at the Centre.

An overflow car park off site provides an additional 470 parking spaces. Shuttle buses operate between the venue and the overflow car park when in use.

Travelling by taxi
If you’re already in the CBD, any taxicab will drop you off right at the venue within 10 minutes. The taxi rank is located near the entrance of Hall 1.

Arriving by public transport
The nearest train station is Town Hall. Darling Harbour is a ten-minute walk away where you can catch the free ferry service from Convention Jetty during exhibition event days.

State bus 443 leaves from Alfred Street, Circular Quay, stopping at George and York Streets, The Star casino and terminates at the Maritime Museum. From there it's just a short walk to the Convention Jetty at Darling Harbour where you can catch the free ferry to Pacific 2015.

Alternatively the Circular Quay train station is a five minute walk to Commissioner Steps where you can also catch a free ferry service to Pacific 2015 on exhibition event days.

Arriving by foot
There is no direct access to the venue by foot or by bicycle.

Arriving from the airport
Catch a taxi to the Centre, which is a 30-minute drive from Sydney’s domestic and international airports.
