PACIFIC 2015, the biennial Pacific International Maritime Exposition, will be held in Sydney from Tuesday 6 to Thursday 8 October 2015.

As the only comprehensive international exhibition of its kind in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region, PACIFIC 2015  will again provide the essential showcase for commercial maritime and naval defence industries to promote their capabilities to decision-makers from around the world.

Held on the waterfront of beautiful Sydney Harbour, PACIFIC 2015  will be the ninth in the series and builds on the highly successful biennial events held in Sydney since 2000.

The last event, PACIFIC 2013 , was held in conjunction with the Royal Australian Navy’s ‘International Fleet Review’ in October 2013. It commemorated the centenary of the first entry by the Royal Australian Navy fleet into Sydney Harbour. PACIFIC 2015  will again coincide with this anniversary and be the centrepiece of Australia’s ‘Navy Week’ celebrations.

Specifically developed to satisfy the needs of industry, government and defence professionals across the broad spectrum of maritime affairs, PACIFIC 2015  is not open to the general public.

The world’s leaders in the commercial maritime and naval defence sectors communities will be at PACIFIC 2015 :

  • Manufacture
  • Design and development
  • Ship building and repairs
  • Propulsion systems
  • Components
  • Electronics and navigation
  • Communications
  • Defence systems
  • Maintenance and sustainment
  • Port management and services
  • Maritime facilities and stevedoring
  • Logistics and freight forwarding
  • Shipping supplies and services
  • Maritime security
  • Maritime and naval technology
  • Autonomous systems
  • Naval and maritime aviation
  • Underwater technology
  • Training and simulation

PACIFIC 2015 will continue the event’s expansion with increased focus on the commercial maritime sector as well as naval defence. In 2013, more than 400 participating exhibitor companies were represented from 19 countries. Over the three days of PACIFIC 2013, trade-day attendances totalled 17,992 and the event hosted 24 associated conferences, symposia and forums.

In 2015, PACIFIC will again attract numerous senior commercial, military and government delegations from around the world and, particularly, from Australia and the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.

PACIFIC 2015 will provide delegates, exhibitors, participants and visitors with a unique opportunity to meet with their peers, potential suppliers and customers. Issues and proposals will be discussed, ideas and information exchanged, contacts made and networks developed.
