Australia-USA Defence Trade Cooperation Treaty information session and workshop

The Treaty between the Government of Australia and the Government of the United States of America concerning Defence Trade Cooperation came into force on 16 May 2013. This session will provide information and a discussion forum on the benefits of the Treaty for Australian companies who become members of the ‘Approved Community’, providing the ability to trade in certain defence goods, services and technology controlled under the United States International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), without the need for export licences.

Companies that currently access ITAR controlled goods and technologies are encouraged to attend this session to explore whether membership of the Approved Community and use of the Treaty would benefit their business. Members of the Approved Community are also very welcome to attend, and may contribute their experiences to the discussion.

Date, Time and Location
This event will be held at the Sydney Exhibition Centre @ Glebe Island.

Date: Wednesday 7th October 2015
